The Really Simple Systems Advanced and Simple Marketing tools automatically manages any unsubscribes from your marketing emails, and maintains compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
All emails sent from the tool include an Unsubscribe link, in line with our Email Sending Policy, which when clicked sets the contact record to “hold”. Once on “hold” the contact will be excluded from future email campaigns.
When a contact unsubscribes from a mailing it is automatically set to “hold” in the CRM account.
Contacts can also be put on hold manually by setting the toggle switch to “yes” in the Hold field on the contact record.
Once a contact is set to “hold” they will not be selected for any new mailing lists or marketing segmentations, and will not be mailed in exitsing lists.
