SpotlerCRM Email Sending Policy
Customers that use the SpotlerCRM Marketing Tool for sending emails to their customers and prospects need to comply with this policy or may find their emailing service suspended.
Bought-in Mailing Lists
Customers should not send emails to addresses acquired by purchasing lists from third parties.
Customers sending marketing communications to EC citizens should comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) particularly in the form of obtaining explicit consents from citizens before emailing them. Customers should use the Really Simple Systems built-in GDPR compliance features to capture and store consents.
Bounces, Spam Reports, Unsubscribes and Complaints
Customers whose emailing campaigns result in a high level of bounces, spam reports, unsubscribes or complaints may have delivery of their emails slowed down or their emailing service suspended.
All emails other than transactional emails must have a clear Unsubscribe link.
Customers must not send emails that have any references to unlawful content, or that promote unsuitable activities including but not limited to gambling, pornography, financial trading, tax evasion, loan, pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes, medications or drugs.
Customers must comply with all local laws both in their own and their recipients’ jurisdictions including but not limited to the EC’s Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive and GDPR, the US’s CAN-SPAM, Australia’s Spam Act and Canada’s PIPEDA.
